movement helps you explore your body’s sensations and emotional reactions, yoga poses strengthen and stretch, allowing stress to pass through by releasing tension from the muscles and fascia tissue.
It’s typical to sigh, cry, yawn, or feel tired as you release tension and relax your Vagus Nerve, helping your Nervous System find its calm. This class is open to anyone who can move their limbs freely and can be practiced standing or from a chair or by lying down. My hope is that you feel encouraged to connect mindful awareness of your body in a supportive, non-judgmental space.
