WHAT IS THIS CLASS OFFERING?
Somatic movement is about exploring sensations within our awareness, whereas Yoga movement will provide us with poses to strengthen and stretch our bodies. The blend of these modalities allows stuck energy (or stress) to move through the body.
It is normal to sigh, cry, have a grumbling stomach, yawn and feel tired while releasing the stress due to activating the Vagus Nerve in order to help the Parasympathetic channel of the Nervous System to become more dominant (aka helping you stay in your logical/reasoning mind).
This class is accessible to anyone that can move their body freely. My aim is to help you explore your body in a non-judgmental way to release stress and fill up on what feels loving with your soul. Please practice in a place that is as free from distractions and with a good internet connection.
