About the event

Do you ever feel like your body is stuck in survival mode—on edge, reactive, or constantly exhausted? Maybe you find yourself shutting down, saying yes when you really want to say no, or feeling completely overwhelmed by stress. That’s shame. It’s a protective emotion of feeling defective, bad, or wrong in some way.

In this 4-hour retreat, you'll discover how to gently soothe your body so that you can feel safer, calmer, and more able to understand when shame arises with curiosity instead of control. Guided by Somatic Practitioners Hannah Demuth and Katt Townsend, LCSW, TIYT, you’ll learn practical tools from Somatics and Internal Family Systems to:

Release tension and emotional overwhelm stored in your body from the years of being unseen, unheard and unfelt.

Feel more grounded, present, and supported— by the person who matters most,…
